Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. First gymnast in history to score a 10 for an Olympic competition. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was just six years old. Her first competitive event was The National Junior Championships in which she was 13th place in 1969. In 1970, Comaneci was crowned champion. In her 1972 first international competition that was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for nations in the Communist bloc, she won 3 gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975 she was crowned all-around Junior Champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals in her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. This was the first time she had competed as a senior. She was the first female ever to perform a backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she was performing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career in the world of entertainment when she was a teenager. She began her career with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling show of entertainment. They featured ice skating shows with theatrical shows.
